Online Teaching Spring 2021
Due to the ongoing pandemic, teaching at the Department of English will be conducted online during the spring term 2021. Exams that are usually done in exam halls will be done as home exams in the Inspera system, at least during the first half of the term. It may be possible to go back to exam halls in the second half of the term, depending on how the situation develops. Information about this will be announced later.
Distance teaching will be carried out either in Studium or in the Student Portal, depending on which course you are studying, and in Zoom. What applies to each course is stated in the registration information in the Student Portal. You will have access to the learning platform when you have registered to the course and activated your student account.
Lectures and group activities will be held in Zoom. Students at Uppsala University have access to Zoom via the university. To be able to use all the Zoom features, you need to install a client. Information on how to activate a Zoom account and install the client can be found here.
Your teachers will provide more information about your online studies.
