Academic Quarter

The department uses the "academic quarter" policy which means that lectures and seminars scheduled on the hour begin at quarter past. Each lecture hour is 45 minutes. If the schedule says 14–16, then you will begin class at 14:15. Please note that this rule does not apply to examinations, which are always written at the exact time.

Course Reading Lists

Reading lists for each course are available in the course syllabus, which can be found in Studium or in the list of course offerings. Course books are available for purchase online or from the main book stores in Uppsala. Akademibokhandeln LundeQ is notified before each term begins of the required reading. There are also online sites where you may buy and sell used course books. See also sale advertisements on our notice board. Some of the student clubs include course books in their libraries.

Course evaluations

Course evaluations are usually done at the end of a course or course module.
