Entry Requirements: English C or 90 credits in a language subject or in comparative literature.

About the course:

The course offers an introduction to American poetry by focusing on how it negotiates private and public spheres, and mediates between the personal and the culture within which the poet is working. It also provides an introduction to the vast array of movements and forms we encounter in the history of American poetry.
